Time Anchor Distillery (Pty) Ltd respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: name, email, phone number and address when you order, book or contact us.
  • Order and booking history: what you bought or booked, and when.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
  • Reviews: your name and review, if you leave one.
  • Browsing data: how you use our site, collected through cookies and tracking pixels.

We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled securely by PayFast and PayFlex.

Why we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders and bookings
  • To reply to your questions
  • To send our newsletter and offers, only if you’ve subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • To improve our website and show relevant ads

Who we share it with

We only share what’s needed with trusted service providers:

  • Shopify: our website and checkout platform
  • PayFast and PayFlex: payments
  • Our courier: deliveries
  • Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok: website analytics and advertising

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa, with safeguards in place as required by POPIA. We never sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep our site working, remember your cart and understand how visitors use the site. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed. Order records are kept for 5 years, as required for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you
  • correct or delete it
  • stop sending you marketing

Age

Our site is only for people aged 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
