About these terms

These terms apply to all purchases and bookings on timeanchor.co.za, run by Time Anchor Distillery (Pty) Ltd. By using this site or placing an order, you accept them. Our Shipping, Refund and Privacy policies form part of these terms.

Age restriction

You must be 18 or older to use this site, buy our products or attend an experience. We don’t sell alcohol to anyone under 18 and may ask for proof of age.

Orders and pricing

Prices are in Rand and include VAT. Prices and availability can change without notice. If an item is incorrectly priced or unavailable, we’ll contact you before processing, and you can cancel for a full refund. We may limit quantities or decline an order where needed. Product colours may look slightly different on screen.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by PayFast and PayFlex. We never see or store your card details.

Discount codes

One code per order, and codes can’t be combined. WELCOME10 gives 10% off your first online order of gin and gifts, once per customer. It excludes experiences and gift vouchers.

Personalised bottles

Personalisation is available on 750ml bottles, up to 25 characters. Please check spelling carefully: we engrave exactly what you enter. Personalised bottles can’t be returned unless we made an error.

Experiences

  • Experiences are for guests aged 18+ and must be booked online.
  • Please arrive up to 15 minutes before your start time. Late arrivals may not be able to join once the session has started, and no refund applies.
  • Cancellations: full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before your booking.
  • Rescheduling: possible up to 7 days before your booking.
  • Within 7 days of the booking, it’s final. No-shows aren’t refunded.
  • Bookings can be transferred to someone else. Just let us know their name.
  • We may photograph sessions for marketing. Tell our team on the day if you’d prefer not to be photographed.
  • We may refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated. Please drink responsibly and don’t drive after your experience.
  • Private and corporate bookings are confirmed in writing, with their own terms.

Gift vouchers

Your voucher code is emailed to the buyer’s email address at purchase. We can’t access voucher codes or change the email address once the voucher is bought, so please check it carefully at checkout.

To redeem, book your experience on our website and enter your voucher code at checkout.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, are redeemable online only, and can’t be exchanged for cash. Lost vouchers can’t be reissued, so please keep your voucher email safe.

Competitions

Open to South African residents aged 18+. Our staff and their families can’t enter. Winners are chosen at random, and prizes can’t be exchanged for cash.

Website content

All content on this site, including text, images and designs, belongs to Time Anchor Distillery. Please don’t copy or use it without written permission.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses from using this site or our products. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.

General

These terms are governed by South African law. We may update them from time to time, and the version on this page applies to your order.
