Step inside Johannesburg’s first craft distillery for a guided gin and chocolate pairing, hosted by our Distillery Ambassadors and presented as a fully guided experience. A a structured gin and chocolate pairing experience, designed to be engaging, educational and flavour-led.

The experience includes:

  • A Perfect Serve Mirari G&T on arrival
  • A fully guided gin and chocolate tasting platter, featuring three Mirari gins paired with handcrafted chocolates made on site and complementary garnishes
  • A guided distillery tour, offering insight into how Mirari gin is crafted, from botanicals through to distillation and finishing
  • Bottle Your Memory, filling, labelling and sealing a 50ml bottle of gin to take home
  • Duration: 90 mins
  • Location: Time Anchor Distillery, Kramerville, Johannesburg

This experience is guided throughout, with insight into pairing, tasting technique and how flavour and texture evolve when gin, chocolate and garnishes are enjoyed together.

Everything You Ever Dreamed A Gin Tasting Would Be

We had the most amazing experience! The attention to detail, the information shared and the fun along the way was well worth it for such a minimal price! It was our first date and I would definitely recommend doing the same if you're looking for something different to do! Definitely coming back for more, and more and more!

Wonderful experience

The staff was nice and helpful, the place was clean and the presentation was exceptional and very light and fun. Absolutely would recommend it to everyone. Wonderful hosting. I eill do this again, and i will also come back for the Gin Making Class. Well done Mirari Team

The Gin tasting at Mirari Gin at Time Anchor Distillery was nothing short of exceptional! The session was passionate and fast fact-filled, making for an engaging and educational experience. From the moment we stepped in, the dedication to craft and quality was evident.

The entire Mirari Gin team should be incredibly proud of the experience they've created. Every detail, from the history of gin-making to the intricate distillation process, was shared with such enthusiasm that it was impossible not to be captivated.

And, of course, the gins themselves were absolutely delicious and divine! Each sip showcased the artistry and unique South African botanicals that set Mirari Gin apart. This tasting is a must-do for gin lovers and anyone looking to experience the best of South African craft spirits.
