Mirari Gin & Chocolate Masterclass & Distillery Tour
Step into a realm of artisanal excellence at Time Anchor Distillery in Kramerville, where the heritage of Johannesburg's first distillery intertwines with contemporary craftsmanship. Our Gin & Chocolate Pairing and Distillery Tour is your gateway to a world of flavour, tradition, and hands-on discovery.
Each session will last approximately 90 minutes and includes:
A Warm Welcome: Kickstart your adventure with a Perfect Serve Mirari G&T, a refreshing welcome as we gather to commence our journey.
Guided Gin Tasting: Explore the nuanced flavours of three Mirari Gins under the expertise of our knowledgeable hosts, each gin thoughtfully paired with on-site crafted artisanal chocolates.
Distillery Tour: Get a behind-the-scenes look at how our award winning range of Mirari gins are crafted.
Bottle Your Memory: Bottle, label, and seal a 50ml bottle of gin, a personalised keepsake to take home.
DESIGNATED DRIVERS :
Drivers will still have the opportunity to take part in our tasting and learn about all things gin while enjoying an alcoholic beverage. They will also get to bottle their own 50ml bottle of gin to take home and enjoy.
Additional Details:
- Doors open 15 minutes before the tour start time, early arrivals may not be accommodated
- Attendees must be 18 or over; this includes babies and young children.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden on-site, both indoors and outdoors.
Parking:
Secure off-street parking is available. However, utilising Uber or a similar taxi service is recommended. Drive safely and adhere to alcohol limits if driving to and from our distillery.
Cancellations:
Tour cancellations are refundable and amendable up to 14 days before the tour date. For bookings within 14 days of the tour date, tours are non-refundable.

We recently had the pleasure of attending the gin and chocolate tasting, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The venue was absolutely lovely and welcoming, creating the perfect atmosphere for the event. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delightful welcome cocktail that was both tasty and refreshing, setting the tone for the aftternoon.
The host was incredibly engaging, sharing her extensive knowledge with enthusiasm and making the session both informative and enjoyable. The chocolates were a true delight, each pairing perfectly with the different gins and adding a fun, indulgent twist to the tasting.
