Step inside Johannesburg’s first craft distillery for a hands-on Gin School experience, hosted by our Distillery Ambassadors and delivered as a fully guided masterclass. This is a structured gin-making experience designed to be engaging, educational and flavour-led, with each guest crafting a bespoke gin from start to finish.
The experience includes:
- A Perfect Serve Mirari G&T on arrival
- A fully guided gin-making masterclass, covering the fundamentals of gin, botanicals and distillation
- The opportunity to select from over 40 botanicals, using a traditional gin-making approach to design your own unique recipe from scratch
- Hands-on distillation using a traditional imported copper pot still
- Bottle Your Creation, naming, labelling and bottling a 750ml bottle of your own gin to take home
- Duration: 120 mins

This experience is guided throughout, with insight into gin styles, botanical balance, distillation technique and flavour development, ensuring you leave with both knowledge and a personalised gin crafted entirely by you.

- Cancellations: - Refundable or amendable up to 14 days before the session. Within 14 days, bookings are non-refundable but amendable within 7 days

Crafting my own gin at Time Anchor Distillery was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday, offering an experience that was both educational and deeply personal. The distillery itself has a wonderfully authentic, industrial-chic atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, guiding me expertly through the vast array of botanicals to design my unique recipe. The hands-on process, from selecting ingredient to distilling, was fascinating and fun, resulting in a beautiful bottle of bespoke gin that is truly my own creation. I highly recommend this experience to any gin lover looking for a memorable, custom-made adventure that offers outstanding value for money.
